===== KU060 DUT Card FMC Fix-Interposer =====

==== Purpose ====

The KU060 Revision 1 DuT Card's FMC-pin columns A-D are swapped between connectors, breaking backwards compatibility, mixing voltage rails, and causing design-time issues. FMC2's pin-columns A-D are routed to the FMC1 connector, and FMC1's pin-columns A-D are in turn routed to the FMC2 connector. A detailed explanation, a full list of affected Nets, as well as an outline of practical design implications can be found [[infrastructure:hw:dut_ku060:rev1_fmc_netname_fixup|on this page]].

The interposer card 's design is available under a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 License with explicit permission to use it for commercial XRTC radiation tests. It is not in the public domain.

Note: the MGT lanes on each card are still swapped, as redirecting them would severely harm signal integrity, and their voltage levels are independent from the regular signals anyway. Better fewer but correctly working MGTs than more but dysfunctional ones.
==== Impact ====

This breaks voltage domains between the cards, breaks downwards compatibility between the KU060 DuT and older cards, and has severe timing implications for designs utilizing the FMC interfaces. This passive-interposer can be attached to both incorrectly laid-out FMC ports and provides two correctly working FMC ports for ConfigMon/JCM as well as one peripheral FMC-module.
